We are proud to offer guests our dream vacation home on beautiful Lake Ontario. Renovated in May 2023, our home has a large master bedroom facing the lake with a king bed and two other sleep options (described later) and a guest room with two twin beds. Additionally, our home has a full bathroom on the second floor and a half bath on the ground floor. A beautiful family room with amazing views of the lake is joined to the dining area and kitchen. There is an enclosed rear porch with giant windows to enjoy the sunset, read a book or just relax with the lake breeze while listening to music on the wireless Bluetooth speakers we provide. There is an open deck for listening to the waves in the evening, enjoying the sun or watching nature. Our kitchen comes with everything you need; (all new appliances) dishwasher, stove (with a built in air fryer), large sink, refrigerator and a large island to prepare and serve food. We have a fire-pit right on the water were you can see for miles down the beach and on clear nights, Toronto in the distance. Our home has washer and dryer in the basement. We are making every effort possible to maintain the natural environment around our home, and because of that we rely on natural bug control (plants). Unique to our area, our home is surrounded by fireflies, we hope our guests enjoy the natural environment that we love so much. Because we are situated right on the lake you can expect some mosquitoes and spiders outside. The cleaning products used in our home are non-toxic and we provide our guests with Native brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We want our guests to be comfortable and to enjoy this beautiful home as much as we do!

Summary: This house was the perfect spot for a 5 day fishing trip. The house was as described, clean, had everything we needed. The location was perfect for all of the different fishing spots we wanted to hit. The owner’s communication was great from booking to the stay. Very happy with our stay!

Summary: The cottage was a perfect home base for our family. The space was a great size and incredibly peaceful. We were incredibly surprised when we arrived and there was a welcome basket waiting for us. If you’re thinking about renting this cottage, we strongly recommend! Summary: We chose this property for its location in the 2024 solar eclipse's "totality zone". We figured if the sun wasn't visible due to weather, we'd still enjoy the beauty of the location. The house is super comfortable, clean and well-appointed, and the lake views are amazing. Jess was very easy to communicate with. We appreciated all the thoughtfulness the hosts put into welcoming us, right down to including a souvenir solar eclipse glass in the box of goodies they left! P.S. Though the clouds blocked out the sun, we did experience the blackout that came over the lake for about 3 mins at 3:20pm. It was awesome.

Summary: We had a great stay in this very cute lakeside spot. While it was a chilly week the lovely views and sounds of the waves were still so enjoyable. The master bedroom looks right over the lake which is so nice. Very user friendly kitchen with open living space. Quick replies from Jess when any questions arose. I'll likely be back in town and won't hesitate to book again.

Summary: This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as clean and nice as the first time . Jess is a great host and easy to deal with and she takes the time to leave some local food items from the area for you to sample if you like. I.e. Local apples , pickled green beans , S'mores and many other items. Thanks again to Jess for hosting us and we will be back next time traveling to the area . Scott-

Summary: My expectations for my stay here were were high based on the photos, descriptions and price. This house has the potential to be an absolutely amazing getaway. First the exterior needs a good pressure washing. There’s cobwebs all over the exterior of the home, decks and door entry ways filled with bugs. It seemed like no one has been there in a while. On the right side of the home the foundation blocks are smashed out allowing any curious kids to crawl under the home . The view out back where the fire pit was amazing but the backyard needs some fill/drainage. After a day of rain the backyard turned into a swamp and the water sat with bugs swarming us as we tried to have a fire. I also was disappointed there was no easy access shoreline/beach area at the house. Based on the photos posted on the listing and speaking to the property owner it seemed like there was. The photos posted are from a public shoreline up the road from the house . It was a short walk so it wasn’t a big deal but again my expectations were let down a little . The inside of the home has been remodeled and is very nice but again it needs to be maintained . Lightbulbs not working, doorhandles falling off due to setscrew not being tightened , and we had issues with the downstairs toilet not flushing. The upstairs was set up to our liking , especially with having a young child. The biggest nail biter was not having access to the garage as it was advertised. It was full of junk with barely any room to walk in.
